At the 2016 World Beer Awards, held in London, three of Brasserie St-Feuillien’s beers were recognised by an international jury of experts, who blind-tasted over 1,500 beers from 32 countries.
Having been certified organic in early 2016, Grisette Blanche won the gold medal in the Belgian Style Witbier category.
Grisette Blanche Bio (5.5% alc. vol.) belongs to the rich family of Belgian white beers. It is therefore very refreshing in summer. However, it remains a fullbodied, savoury beer offering lots of contrast. Its head is typical of wheaty beers – creamy and compact – with an opaque, hazy appearance. Respecting traditional methods, Grisette Blanche, in bottle, is now certified organic.
St-Feuillien Brune was also recognised and awarded the silver medal in the Belgian Style Strong Dark category.
St-Feuillien Brune (8.5% alc. vol) has a marked ruby brown colour, with a generous and lasting head. It has a distinctive aroma and an intense and strongly aromatic flavour.
Launched in 2015, Grisette Blonde Bio sans gluten won three awards: World’s Best Speciality Beer, World’s Best Style Winner and Belgium Winner.
Grisette Blonde Bio sans gluten (5.5% alc. vol.) is a light, very refreshing pale ale. With a secondary fermentation in the bottle, it releases aromas of a richness that it is seldom found in other beers of this density. The head is smooth and white, and the body has a straw yellow color. It has an intense yet distinctive bitterness.
Respecting traditional methods, Grisette Blonde Bio does not undergo any biochemical treatment and is certified organic and gluten-free.
